Job Requirement:
- Bachelors degree in international trade, business, management, accounting, finance or any other relevant field.
- Experience of 3-4 years preferred, but not required. The key aspect of this job is negotiation and presence of mind.
- Good fluency in professional English, mostly written. Proper negotiation skills required.
- Multi tasking ability. Respond to and keep in touch with multiple suppliers at a time.
Job Description:
- Get in touch with suppliers overseas and negotiate the best deal terms.
- Co-ordinate with forwarders and negotiate prices and payment terms.
- Track all shipments in transit and maintain proper records in the ERP.
- Coordinate with finance department for processing import orders.
- Be the focal person for all transactions with suppliers and vendors.
- Bridge the gap between management, finance department and suppliers regarding all current and future orders.
- Form sourcing strategies and plan in cooperation with the sales and marketing team.
