Key Responsibilities

 

• • Assist the Storekeeper in receiving, unloading, checking, and arranging incoming materials and goods.

• • Load and unload materials, equipment, supplies, and other items safely and carefully.

• • Assist in moving and transporting materials to designated storage locations.

• • Arrange and organize stock properly to ensure easy identification and access.

• • Assist in issuing materials, tools, and supplies to authorized personnel as instructed by the Storekeeper.

• • Support the Storekeeper in maintaining accurate stock records and inventory documentation.

• • Assist with physical stock counting and verification of inventory.

• • Check materials for visible damage, shortages, or discrepancies during receiving and report them to the Storekeeper.

• • Ensure proper labeling, identification, and systematic arrangement of stored items.

• • Assist in packing, unpacking, shifting, and preparing materials for delivery or dispatch.

• • Keep the store and surrounding areas clean, organized, and free from unnecessary materials.

• • Handle tools, equipment, and materials carefully to prevent damage or loss.

• • Assist in identifying slow-moving, damaged, or obsolete materials and report them to the Storekeeper.

• • Follow proper procedures for the safe handling and storage of materials.

• • Assist with deliveries, collections, and material transfers when required.

• • Support regular inventory checks and reconciliation activities.

• • Follow all company safety, security, and store management procedures.

• • Ensure proper use and care of store tools and equipment.

• • Perform other store, warehouse, and material-handling duties assigned by the Storekeeper or management.

Job Requirements

 

• • Minimum SEE / +2 qualification Preferred. Candidates with an ongoing mentioned degree and relevant work experience may also be considered.

• • Previous experience in a store, warehouse, inventory, construction, trading, or similar environment will be an advantage.

• • Freshers may also be considered based on attitude and willingness to learn.

• • Basic knowledge of stock handling and store operations is an advantage.

• • Basic computer knowledge will be an added advantage.

• • Physically fit and capable of lifting, moving, and arranging materials as required.

• • Good communication and teamwork skills.

• • Honest, disciplined, punctual, and responsible.

• • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under supervision.

• • Good attention to detail.

• • Willingness to work in a warehouse, store, project site, or other assigned location.

• • Two-wheeler with a valid driving license will be an added advantage
