Key Responsibilities

• Safely collect and deliver company products, materials, documents, parcels, and other items to assigned locations.
• Ensure all items are properly checked, loaded, secured, transported, and delivered without damage or loss.
• Verify delivery items against delivery notes, invoices, dispatch documents, or other relevant records before leaving the office/store.
• Confirm the quantity and condition of items before and after delivery.
• Obtain customer or receiver confirmation, signature, stamp, or other proof of delivery as required.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, staff, and other recipients during delivery.
• Collect documents, returned goods, payments, or other items from customers when authorized.
• Report delivery status, delays, damaged items, missing items, or customer concerns to the concerned supervisor immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of daily deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, delivery expenses, and returned items.
• Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, secure, and in good working condition.
• Conduct routine checks of fuel, tires, brakes, lights, oil, and other essential vehicle components.
• Report vehicle maintenance requirements, breakdowns, accidents, or damage to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
• Handle company and customer items carefully and maintain their security during transportation.
• Assist with loading and unloading items when required.
• Coordinate with the Store, Sales, Accounts, and other departments regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information, delivery details, and company documents.
• Perform other delivery and transportation duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SEE / +2 qualification or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driving license for the vehicle assigned.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant driving or delivery experience is preferred.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver, company driver, courier driver, or logistics driver will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and navigation applications.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Responsible, punctual, honest, and trustworthy.
• Physically fit and capable of loading and unloading items when required.
• Ability to maintain delivery records and handle delivery documents accurately.
• Willingness to travel to different locations as required.
• Two-wheeler driving experience and a valid license will be an added advantage.
