About the Role
Ultra Group showrooms carry the full brand range — Premium and B2B. The Showroom Business Manager is the on-the-ground owner of their assigned showroom. You run daily operations, manage the sales team, own the customer experience, track stock, and hit monthly targets.
This is a leadership role, not a counter sales job. You are accountable for everything that happens in your showroom.
What You’ll Do
- Showroom Operations — open and run the showroom daily. Maintain display standards, product availability, and cleanliness. Every product correctly priced and displayed.
- Sales Team Management — manage showroom sales staff. Set daily targets, track conversion rates, coach underperformers. You are responsible for your team’s output.
- Customer Experience — handle customer queries, product demonstrations, and complaints. Every customer leaves knowing they spoke to an expert.
- Stock Management — coordinate with the warehouse on stock levels. Ensure all key products are available. Flag shortages before they become stockouts.
- Reporting — daily sales figures, weekly stock report, monthly performance report to Sales Manager. Numbers on time, every time.
Requirements
- Retail management experience — has managed a team, even a small one.
- Customer handling — professional, product-knowledgeable, calm under pressure.
- Numeracy — can track daily sales, stock counts, and monthly targets without prompting.
- Leadership — can hold 2 sales staff accountable and coach them to improve.
Bonus
- Experience in appliance or electronics retail
- Existing product knowledge across Ultra Group brands
- Experience with POS systems or basic inventory management tools
