Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day client account operations, including account opening, maintenance, updating, reconciliation, and closure processes.
  • Accurately process and record financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, receipts, and other accounting entries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, supporting documents, and financial data.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, account summaries, and performance reports as required by management or clients.
  • Monitor client accounts and ensure that transactions and financial records are properly documented and reconciled.
  • Provide professional and timely customer service by responding to client inquiries, concerns, and requests related to accounts and financial transactions.
  • Follow up with debtors for outstanding payments and recovery, ensuring timely collection and proper documentation.
  • Assist in monitoring receivables and maintaining accurate records of outstanding balances and collections.
  • Prepare and submit TDS and VAT returns on a monthly basis and ensure timely compliance with applicable tax requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation related to tax filings, payments, deductions, and supporting records.
  • Use accounting software such as Tally, Busy or other relevant accounting systems for day-to-day accounting activities.
  • Prepare Excel-based financial reports, reconciliations including VAT, Bank, and TDS reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, data analysis, and other financial schedules as required.
  • Assist in identifying discrepancies or errors in financial records and take appropriate corrective action.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure the security and accuracy of financial and client information.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (BBA) preferred. Candidates with an ongoing Bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum 1-2 year of relevant work experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel; advanced skills such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, Busy, or similar accounting systems.
  • Good knowledge of TDS and VAT, including preparation and monthly return submission.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while handling financial records and transactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Two-wheeler with a valid driving license will be an added advantage.
