Key Responsibilities
-
- Install, inspect, test, operate, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.

- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance of electromechanical machinery, equipment, and installations.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, control, and equipment-related faults and carry out necessary repairs.
-
- Install and maintain motors, pumps, generators, control panels, electrical wiring, switches, sensors, relays, contactors, and other electromechanical components.
-
- Perform electrical and mechanical connections, assembly, alignment, adjustment, and equipment installation as required.

- Conduct regular inspections to identify equipment defects, abnormal operation, wear, leakage, overheating, vibration, or other potential problems.

- Test electrical circuits, motors, control systems, and mechanical components using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment.

- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.

- Carry out equipment calibration, adjustment, alignment, lubrication, and replacement of defective components where applicable.

- Ensure proper installation and functioning of control systems, sensors, switches, motors, pumps, and other automation-related components.

- Assist engineers and supervisors in equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, spare parts, equipment condition, and service reports.

- Identify required spare parts, tools, and materials and communicate requirements to the concerned supervisor or department.

- Coordinate with other technicians, engineers, contractors, and project teams to complete maintenance and installation work efficiently.

- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies and minimize equipment downtime.

- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with technical specifications, manufacturer recommendations, safety standards, and company procedures.

- Maintain tools, testing instruments, and equipment in good working condition.

- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

- Report equipment problems, maintenance requirements, safety hazards, and work progress to the supervisor or management.

- Perform other technical duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements

- Diploma, Overseer, Certificate, or Technical Qualification in Electromechanical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering preferred. Candidates currently pursuing the mentioned degree with relevant work experience will also be considered.

- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in electromechanical maintenance, installation, or a related technical field.

- Practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, machinery, motors, pumps, control panels, and equipment.

- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults effectively.
-
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.

- Knowledge of electrical testing tools and mechanical hand tools.
-
- Basic knowledge of motors, generators, pumps, bearings, belts, gears, sensors, relays, contactors, and control systems.

- Understanding of electrical safety, equipment safety, and workplace safety procedures.

- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Good attention to detail and ability to identify equipment abnormalities.

- Ability to work independently as well as effectively with engineers and technical teams.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Physically fit and willing to work at project sites, industrial facilities, or other assigned locations.
-
- Willingness to work flexible hours or respond to equipment breakdowns when required.

- Two-wheeler with a valid driving license will be an added advantage.
