Social Media Content Creator
One video every working day. Products from 6+ brands, a phone in hand, and an audience across all of Nepal.
About Ultra Group
Ultra Group has been building Nepal’s modern home since 1997. 6+ brands, sold through our own showrooms and 100+ partner outlets across all seven provinces: power, water, heat, light and the appliances in between.
We are building a daily video presence for the whole group. This role is the engine of it.
The Role
This job has one measure: a video goes out every working day. Shooting happens at the Kalanki office with the real products in hand. Editing is fast. Posting is same-day. TikTok gets the raw, native, daily video. Instagram and Facebook get the cleaner cuts. The role sits under the Digital Marketing Manager, who sets the weekly product list and pushes the videos out to partner outlets across Nepal.
This is not a social media manager role. No ad management, no all-day comment replies, no strategy decks. This role makes videos.
The Cadence
Responsibilities
Daily Shorts for TikTok
One video shot, edited and posted every working day. Product demos, feature reveals, before-and-after, price reveals, quick comparisons. Native format, trending sounds where they fit, no corporate polish.
Polished Cuts for Instagram and Facebook
Two to three cleaner videos a week using the Graphics Designer’s overlay and end-card templates. Same products, more care: lighting, captions, a proper close.
Scripts and Hooks
15-30 second scripts with a hook, one point and a close. Nepali or English depending on the platform and product. The first two seconds are what get judged.
Weekly Shoot Plan
Every Monday, the product list agreed with the Digital Marketing Manager is batch-shot. A running backlog must be kept so a slow day never means a missed post.
Trend Tracking
What is working on TikTok and Reels in Nepal for appliances, electronics and home products must be tracked, and a working format adapted within 48 hours.
Clean Handover
Final files must be named and filed the same way every time, so the Digital Marketing Manager can push them to partner outlets across Nepal without asking where anything is.
Consistency Beats Brilliance Here
One excellent video a month does nothing. Five decent videos a week, every week, for months builds an audience and sells products. A stretch of daily posting on any account counts for more here than a showreel, and belongs in the application.
Requirements
- Proven short-form output — a channel, account or portfolio that shows daily posting, not one good video
- Phone-first shooting — clean, steady, well-lit product footage on a phone, without a studio
- Fast editing — CapCut at minimum; Premiere or DaVinci is a plus. Cuts, captions, sound, exported and posted the same day
- Hook writing — knowing why people stop scrolling, and doing it on purpose
- Consistency — five a week for months, not bursts
- On-camera comfort — hands and voice at minimum; face on camera preferred
- Based in Kathmandu — work is from the Kalanki office every working day
Bonus — Stronger Candidate Signals
- A TikTok or Instagram account grown personally — any niche, with numbers
- AI video and image tools — Veo, Kling, Dreamina, Nano Banana or similar for B-roll and thumbnails
- Nepali voiceover — natural, clear, not read-out
- Basic product photography — the same shoot can feed the website and outlet materials
- Canva — quick text cards and covers when the designer is busy
Compensation and Trial
Expected monthly salary must be stated in the application. It is a required field, and the offer is built around that number and the video test. One-month paid trial, then confirmation based on one thing: did the videos go out.
Why This Role Is Worth It
Real products, a real audience across Nepal and a daily publishing rhythm most creators never get paid to build. The work is seen in showrooms and partner outlets in every province. Strong performers grow into leading the content side of the digital team or move across into paid media under the Digital Marketing Manager.
How to Apply
The videos are the application.
- 3-5 short videos — links or files
- Link to any account posted on regularly (personal or a brand’s)
- CV — one page is enough
- Expected monthly salary (required — applications without it are not reviewed)
- Earliest possible start date
